Fort Worth trip
We decided to go visit my mom in Fort Worth for a few days. Our first day we went to the grapevine mall. I dropped the older kids with Richard off at Lego Land. My mom and I took Camden and went dress shopping for my nephews upcoming wedding. After finding my dress I left a sleeping Camden with my mom and caught up with Richard and the kids. Lego Land added a splash pad and we spent a majority of our time there. We also watched all the 4D movies in Lego land. It was a full fun day.
summer
We started summer with a bang! We hit up the Doug Russell pool with a few of our friends. A few days later we went to cinergy and watched the new ninja Turtles movie. So far we've spent many days at the pool, we renewed our pool membership! There's constantly friends over at our house. Allison and her friend wanted to dip dye their hair. Dip dye is when you use Kool-Aid to color your hair and it eventually washes out. It was a fun experience we had together. Allison has started open soccer practice and track for the entire summer. And I thought our schedule was going to clear up boy was I wrong. I love summer and spending time with my all of my children, the fun has just begun.
schools out
And just like that the school year was over! The end of the school year always means a massive amount of volunteering for me. I literally lived at the school in May. From teacher appreciation week, fall fun day make up, field trip, a party for Cooper's teacher's last day, running to get ingredients for making ice cream, the end of the six weeks, helping with six grade graduation, celebrating Coopers birthday day at school, to the last day activities! I'm sure I didn't list everything. Volunteering and being the room mom is such a wonderful thing for me to do for my children. The staff knows me and the teachers know me, I love being involved in my kids lives. It was a challenging school year for both Cooper and Allison but they've achieved so much! We are ready for summer!!
preschools over
Preschool ended for Beckett the second week of May. The last day was splash day. We love Heritage preschool, they have a great educational program and its small class size makes everyone so close. I was worried about sending Beckett so young. I never sent my other children at age 3, but Beckett was so shy and preschool really helped bring him out of that. He has learned so much and is ahead of most of his peers. It was such a fun school year but were glad for the summer break!

Sockers Game
We have a local professional soccer team in Midland called the Sockers. Allison's club team FC Dallas was recognized at one of the Sockers game. The players get in free and are recognized at halftime on the field. The kids had a blast running around, eating junk, riding the train, and of course watching the game. Allison's friend was at the game too and she enjoyed running around with her. Even Camden enjoyed the game, he was so content.

SeaWorld 2016
Three days at Sea World. My favorite memories:
*Cooper entertaining Camden by making him laugh, or feeding him, or playing with him.
*Allison and Beckett building sand castles, or when Allison took B on rides and slides.
*Waking up to grab a whining Camden and us snuggling for about half an hour until everyone else woke up.
*Riding the Sting Ray ride with the three older kids. Its a water raft ride that takes you down a slide then through a surrounding glass tunnel with a sting ray exhibit. Beckett was tall enough to go and he squealed the whole ride we all had a great laugh.
*Watching Allison do the dolphin experience was another highlight from our trip. Allison had a smile from ear to ear, she was so eager and not afraid. For Allison to make the choice to cancel her party and do this instead showed a lot of maturity on her part. Allison got to swim, feed, kiss, and participate in tricks with the dolphin. It was a once in a life time experience we both will never forget.
*We started a family tradition at Disney Land about 10 years ago with Allison where we collect the imprinted pennies. Now we do it at any place that has the penny machine and all the kids participate.
*Beckett insisted we do a Shamu Show! Its a must at SeaWorld he did it twice. The second time he begged to get wet the lil stinker sat in the splash area and poor Richard and Cam ended up getting soak and would you believe B didn't get a single drop of water on him.
*Cooper didn't want to leave the wave pool. Alli and B got bored and road slides and built sand castles.
*Cooper rode his first legit roller coaster the steel eel. Richard is such a good sport taking the kids to do rides with such a weak stomach. I got to hang out with Cam and Beckett at the park and Sesame Street town.
San Antonio River Walk
We managed some time at the River Walk during our long weekend in San Antonio. My in laws wanted to go to a restaurant on the River Walk called Laundry's, the had eaten there 15 years ago and wanted to go back. We were able to get seat pretty quick and enjoyed a delicious meal all together. Afterwards we caught a picture of my lil family at our spot. A spot we took our first picture as a married couple on our honeymoon. It was dark and the waterfalls weren't on but hey it has a special memory for us. Then we got in line to take the boat tour around the river walk. Cooper was begging to do this and we ALL enjoyed it. We had the best tour guide! Next we went to the Alamo and grabbed a quick photo because we were beat it was 11pm! So glad my in laws were able to tag along with my crazy crew, loved our little big outing.
