Crazy B

Beckett can sure get himself into trouble these days.  I am always catching these silly pictures of him lately.  The other day he was in the bath tube and he kept getting in and out.  He got out but I wasn't done washing his hair.  I slipped on some water and he got away from me and ran down the hall that stinker.  Beckett also loves to sit on the game chair and will push his siblings off just to sit there.  I normally don't take showers while Beckett is awake but this particular day I had no choice.  I set Beckett up with snacks and juice and thought I could take a quick shower.  The door is glass so I was able to keep my eye on him.  Anyway I noticed he laid down and got quiet.  My little guy was so tired he feel asleep.  I was worried if I picked him up he would wake up so I moved his snacks and sippy cup and covered him with his blanket.  The kid slept 2 hours!  I was putting up laundry and I literally almost peed my pants when he walked down the hall and said mama.  Beckett's personality is definitely shinning through these days, even his stubborn side!

Last soccer games and more Halloween fun!

Saturday was as usual a jam packed day!  We started off the day with Allison's last soccer game.  We were playing a pretty good team.  We kept up with the other team the entire first half but the second half the girls gave up.  Three girls were on top of Alli and poor thing got crushed on many occasions.  The other teams coach thought Alli played well and he asked to have her join there team for a tournament this weekend.  Next up was Cooper's last game, my big guy was so over it.  He didn't play that well, kept saying he was hot and tired gezz drama king!  A quick lunch break and the kids were off to there church primary children's practice for there annual program.  After the practice was over we had a two hour break!  The kids watch The Emperor's New Groove and I made a homemade pizza.

Then we were off again to my mother in laws school carnival!  I love this carnival because they have many fun different type of games!  Cooper loved the Indian maze, he went through it over and over!  Allison's favorite part was the petting zoo!  Beckett liked that too, he kept pointing and saying OHHH and that!!  After the school carnival we headed to Saint Ann's Catholic Church's Monster Bash!  They had a trunk or treat, bouncers, haunted house, and dance/costume contest.  I actually really enjoyed the haunted house it was pretty scary in my opinion but then again I scare easy.  The kids hands down loved dancing!  They jammed it out!!  Although my favorite part of the whole night was getting our picture taken at the spot where my life changed.  Where Richard asked me for my phone number.  Richard's dad took a picture of our family of five at our spot. Such a memorable day.

Random

Life is hectic lately, so many things pulling me here and there.  Here is a few random things on my mind this week.

*Afternoons at the Sanchez house are crazy.

* My kids need to get it together and stop forgetting things in the car when they leave to school.  I have driven back to the there school three times this week to take them lunch boxes, class snacks, school folder.

* The plumber came to look at the leak under the sink in the kitchen an hour earlier then expected.  I am sure he enjoyed seeing my hair in a towel!  I am also sure he enjoyed me scolding him for ringing the door bell four times nearly waking up Beckett from his nap.

* Beckett's afternoon nap time runs into everything else scheduled.  But with out that nap he is a monster!

* The four teeth Beckett is getting in right now are transforming my sweet toddler into a grouchy kiddo.  This mama wants to scream in frustration!

* There are never enough hours to accomplish everything I want or need to get done!  Richard says I never sit, that I find things to do.  Did he forget a mothers job is NEVER done.

* One calendar is not enough to keep up with my kids schedules!  Cooper's in charge of school snacks, Cooper's soccer game was rescheduled to Monday, Allison has piano lesson's on Tuesdays, soccer practice Monday/two on Thursday, Bring the Halloween treat for Cooper's class Friday, Soccer pictures Thursday, PTA meeting, Activity girls changed to Wed, soccer camp changed to Tuesday, Allison's school project, homework home work and more homework!!!

* Phone call to the Halloween company about Beckett's costume, they sent a size 5T and don't have another in his size!  Looks like I am making him a costume before Saturday!

* Did I mention I am sick:( :( :(

* Haven't waxed the floors this week but the laundry is done!

* I have been to the grocery store 3 times this week!  Where is my brain!

* Some how I got talked into being Allison's room mom at school!

* How do I plan a end of the season soccer party around our schedule?

Rant over.  I am blessed, busy but totally blessed!

Two

These two are inseparable!!  I know I've said it before but Beckett loves his daddy.  He definitely prefers his daddy over anyone even mommy!  Beckett follows Richard around everywhere, and will cry for his attention.  His favorite word is daddy and has started asking me all day where daddy is.  He puts his hands up and says daddy or dada.  Or he will walk to the front door and point to it.  Some times Beckett will find my purse get the keys and grab my hand then lead me to the door.  One day I had gotten a package and left the front door open but the glass door shut knowing Richard was on his way home.  I was making dinner and Beckett just stood there calling for his daddy.  I guess Richard drove up and I heard a loud bang on the door.  Beckett could see Richard and was just banging on the door as hard as he could.  I have several videos of Beckett calling for Richard as he walks through the house, its so sweet!  I am glad those two have such a special bond, it warms my heart to see Richard raise another one of our babies.

Soccer and fall festival

Saturday was a very fun full day.  Richard worked half the day and I was one busy mom!  That morning I woke up early and made breakfast, got to feed my kiddos good food to give them fuel for the day!  Then I was busy laying clothes etc out for soccer and their costumes for the festival.  Cooper's game was first and he played decent, some times I think I should sign him up for football he is always tackling players!  Beckett enjoyed playing with his Uncle Manuel during the game.
Next up was Allison's game, Richard barely made it before the game started!  Turns out the other team thought the game started at 3:30 instead of 3:00, so they had to forfeit due to the lack of players.  Which gave us the win, but we decided to play them anyway and the coaches would referee the game.  It was a great game,  they had a pretty good defensive team with a very tall defender!  Allison scored 7 goals and we won 7-2!

After the soccer game we headed to the kids school fall festival!  I am on the PTA and signed up to help coordinate the costume and pumpkin contest.  We had two ladies judge and the rest of us decorated the stage/made posters, and announce the grades and times of the contest.  Very low key for me because I wanted to enjoy the festival with my little family and we did have a great time!!  Allison and her friend Sam went through the haunted house several times, plus the coke toss, and cake walk.  Cooper was everywhere, Richard recorded the funniest video of him riding a bull on the mechanical bull ride!  Beckett just sat in the wagon and enjoyed the view.  The wagon was an excellent thing to bring since the kids won so much candy, toys, cookies, and coke!  I was so bummed when we got home, wouldn't you know Beckett's costume came in the mail earlier that day while we were at the soccer games!!!!!!

Pumpkins!

We went very low key with our pumpkins this year, especially after last years carving fiasco!  I found these little kits at target and thought they would be perfect.  We have a church carving party on Friday so we will be carving one of our pumpkins.  I also glittered a pumpkin already at our front entry way.  I still plan to let Beckett decorate his, because the lil guy fell asleep on the ride home from the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Patch 2013

Friday we went to dinner, shoe shopping, then visited the pumpkin patch.  Going to the pumpkin patch this year was really special.  Last year Beckett was hospitalized for three days because he stopped breathing due to bronchiolitis.  I remembered I left the hospital to check on the big kids took them to lunch and then stopped by the pumpkin patch and let them pick pumpkins.  I remember feeling like a zombie then, you really don't sleep when you spend nights at the hospital with a very sick baby.  I was so excited for Beckett to get to go for the first time!  My lil guy kept pointing to the pumpkins and squealing then running.  Or he would pick up the little pumpkins and throw them oh oh I think he thought it was a ball..  The big kids stopped for pictures and were off to find there perfect pumpkin!  Its a fun family tradition that I hope my kids are never to old for!  We were barely there for 20 minutes before the storm rolled in and it got cold and windy then we went home to decorate our new pumpkins! Oh and I chopped my hair off!  I went in for a trim and came out with a very choppy layered hair cut!  I lived with it for almost a week and could not take it!  So I went in to fix it and well now I have a very short hair cut!  Oh well its hair right and it will grow!

Sister Visit

Yesterday my sister stopped by for a visit.  My sister's son Zachary's great grandmother passed away and they were in Midland to attend her funeral.  Although there visit was under sad circumstances we still made the best of the time we spent together.  My sister drove into town early to spend some time with me before the funeral.  I made lunch and we got to talk while the boys played in the play room.  It was so nice to relax and catch up.  It was also a very rainy day, so I thought I would bake some cookies with my nephew.  Later I watched my 6 month old nephew while my sister and her older son went to the funeral.  It was interesting picking up the kids from school and driving to piano lesson's with a full car!  I really enjoyed watching baby Marcus he is such a good baby.  After the funeral the cousins all got to play together for awhile before my sister had leave.  I really enjoyed the time we all spent together, hearing the squeals and laughter from the kids and chatting with my sister was fun.  It made me miss my other sisters tremendously.

More soccer, family night, and a tea party!

This weekend as always was a bit crazy, but I wouldn't have changed a thing.  Friday was a full day for many different reasons.  Every Friday night Allison has training with the FC Dallas team (the second soccer team she is on) which pretty much occupies the night.  Saturday both kids had games.  It started out as a cool morning but the day eventually warmed up.  Cooper's soccer game was in the morning he played pretty decent.  Beckett was running all over and we could barely keep up!  A quick lunch break then back to another soccer game.  Allison played awesome scoring 4 goals, Beckett stayed in the wagon and entertained himself.  Cooper as always made a friend and they played.

Later that night we went to the drive in to take the kids to see cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.  The kids love playing on the playgrounds and making friends.  Before the movie we loaded up on food, drinks, and candy!  It was such a cute movie and the kids didn't make a sound, Beckett even slept through the movie.  I love the earlier movie times with the fall weather, you could actually make it to a second showing if you wanted to.

I almost forgot to mention Allison was invited to an American Doll tea party hosted by my friend Lori.  Lori's daughter Payton and Allison are 9 months apart and have always been friends.  The tea party was a hit like I would expect any less from my amazingly creative friend Lori.  Allison is even thinking of asking Santa for another American girl doll!

15 months

On Sunday my B boy turned 15 months and today he had his check up.  I was worried that Beckett is a little behind in speaking.  He only says about 7 words: Mama, Dada, no, up, bye bye, oh oh, and dog.  But his Dr. was not concerned at all and told me he would expect the average 15 month old to say at least 5 words.  Cooper was very similar in this area and we are working with B to use his words more often.  Beckett has stalled in the weight area and didn't gain one ounces since his year check up!  He didn't change much in head circumference either besides point 2 centimeters, which is probably good since he is still in the 97% percentile!  Beckett did grow in height measuring at 33 inches putting him in the 87% percentile in height.  Motor and developmental skills were all on target!  My poor guy did have to get several shots plus a flu shot.  He was very shy this visit and death gripped me when the nurse tried to weigh him and when the Dr. was looking him over.  Beckett threw a fit when he was forced to lay down for his shot!

B at a month old

My B boy is into everything including his siblings room's, toys, and there food.  He loves the back yard, garage, and front yard.  Beckett is always telling me bye bye because he wants to go to one of those places.  I love that he still wants to snuggle, give hugs, and kisses.  A recent development is his extreme fear of the vacuum cleaner.  Oh the kid cries bloody murder, and wants to be held!  I enjoy my days by myself with him.  Its nice to have a huge backyard where he can play.  Its so quiet and simple and we just spend time together playing on the trampoline rolling a ball back and forth to each other, or going down the slide over and over again, or constantly climbing the play equipment.  Beckett is a wonderful eater he will try and eat anything!  He continues to be an amazing sleeper taking up to four hour naps a day, sometimes 1 three hour nap or two two hour naps.  And of course he still sleeps through the night!  Beckett's new favorite thing is to get into my purse and steal my keys!  He is a smart kid and understand everything I say to him and instruct him, but he does have a stubborn side if he doesn't want to do something he will tell you!  I also have to add that Beckett has joined big brother in watching DWTS.  For some reason the boys are hypnotized by the music and always snuggle to watch with me.  I love Beckett so much he is such an important part of my life.  I just wasn't fulfilled in life until he came in it.  I am so thankful the Lord saw fit to bring him to us, we love him and cherish everyday with our lil guy!

Picnic and Soccer camp

Monday was a teacher in service day so the kids had no school, it was so nice to sleep in! Until I woke up to a crying baby who peed out of his diaper, oh oh daddy forgot to change somebodies diaper before bed.  After undressing Beckett and pulling all his bedding off it was bath time!  Beckett loves to splash and that's ok because I love to hear him laugh.  We had plans to meet a friend at the park but she locked her keys in her car.  We decided to go anyway and have a picnic.  It was perfect weather.  We even had a very friendly prairie dog who ate lunch with us, I am serious the lil thing just sat there and was not afraid!  We even rain into some friends, the kids had a blast.  After the park we stopped by Bahama Bucks on the way home for some snow cones.

Later that afternoon both the kids had a soccer camp to go to.  About a month ago Richard signed up the kids for a skills camp that Chevy sponsored at the Grande Stadium.  Richard was running late from work so I meet him up there with our crew and we switched off kiddos.  Beckett and I ended up getting stuck in traffic while he napped and then went on an afternoon walk together.  The kids enjoyed the skills camp they even received t-shirts, soccer ball, and snacks.

Obession

Apparently I am a little late to the game and have joined the dark side. I am officially obsessed with Starbucks, particularly the double chocolaty chip Frappuccino blended crème with whipped cream!  OMG I am not a sweet eater but I have to at least treat myself once a week to this bad boy!

A few weekends ago Richard and I went on a date night.  So glad to be back in Midland, and a big thank you to my mother/father in law.  The inlaws came over to our house to watch the kids.  We went to Salt Grass which was delicious!  Then Richard said lets go for dessert and skip the movie.  There was really no movies out we wanted to see so he took me to Starbucks and insisted I try this drink.  Lets just say we didn't share the drink and I became hooked!  I literally live right by Starbucks and lets just say its a fight not drive in!  Anyway had to share my new love with my blog pals!

Lazy Saturday

Richard had to work this weekend, I had a baby shower to go to, the kids had soccer games, and a cold front came through.  The cooler weather was a nice break from our mid 90's weather. We had no other plans besides the soccer games on Saturday, it turned out Cooper's game was canceled.  My in laws stayed at the house with B because it was windy and cold and I took the older two kids to Allison's game.  The wind made it really chilly, Cooper and I were wrapped up in a blanket the whole game.  Allison's team played pretty hard we only lost 3-0 compared to the 11 and 13 point deficit the last two games.  First game in a year Allison hasn't scored.  The opposing team had a killer goalie and poor Alli is the only player who decides to play offensively.  She is literally one against four girls and the odds were against her.  After the game we lounged around all day, once Richard came home we watched World War Z and the kids watched Crudes.  The rest of the weekend was lazy and totally enjoyable.  We are always on the run and have such busy schedules, it was so nice to have a relaxing day.  Next weekend is going to be crazy so we totally needed the rest!
