26 weeks

This past Friday I had my monthly Doctors visit.  Pretty normal I was in and out in thirty minutes!  Richard was off so he was able to come.  Beckett is pretty use to going now, and is so well behaved.  I am measuring a week bigger, and baby had a healthy heartbeat.  I am starting to get varicose veins in my right leg, but the Doctor isn't concerned and still encouraged me to continue my daily three mile walk.  Walking helps with blood flow.  Ugh more weight gain, it better slow down or I am going to have a hard time losing weight after baby.  At least I know I am eating pretty health, but I feel like I am retaining water.  I come back on the 14th for the glucose test.  My Doctor agreed to have me go straight to the three hour test instead of the one hour test.  I have never passed the first test.  At least I don't have to drink that yuck stuff twice.  So I have to fast over night until after the three hours and I go in straight up 8am.  Hopefully I pass, I am a little worried with the quick weight gain this pregnancy.  Anyway I feeling blah which is normal not to uncomfortable yet.  I had the stomach bug last week boy was that terrible.  I still have a few projects I need to finish before baby gets here, but there's plenty of time still to get these things done.

day 5

Our last day at the resort was rained out!  We had horseback riding lesson's that were canceled because of the weather.  Which meant no fishing, or boat riding either.  The resort has a indoor movie theater and arcade.  The kids played and watched movies before Allison convinced everyone to play miniature golf while it was sprinkling.  Cooper and I didn't last long we barely made it to the eighth hole and we went back inside.  We drove the two hours back to my moms to visit before driving the rest of the way home.

day 4

Our plan for the day was the indoor water park.  We woke up and the kids were super hyper.  I wanted them to eat a good breakfast before we got to the pool before 10am.  We stayed at the in door water park from 10-6!  We found a table close to the lazy river and that is where I spent most of my day.  Beckett was unsure at first but eventually he got use to the water and all the slides and other things.  Beckett would take breaks and dry off and rest then he was back out playing in the water.  Both the bigger kids spent most of there time in the lazy river, but would move over to the wave pool occasionally.  When the lines weren't to full both kids rode one of the four water slides.  Both the kids made friends through out the day.  After two hours I never got back in the water, even though the water was heated it was still a little chilly for my liking.  Richard mainly stayed with Beckett the whole day, and I occasionally would catch him off the slide.  I would keep up with the older kids from the table and they would check in with me from time to time.  We did take a break and ordered a pizza for lunch, the kids ate every bite and went right back to the water.  We took a short dinner break and got another pizza and ices around four.  Later around 6:00 both Allison and Cooper came back to the table with blood shot eyes, complaining of being tired.  We decided to call it a day, and settled in for the night at the condo with movies and snacks.

day 3

We planned to leave my moms after lunch to drive to Tyler TX Silverleaf Resort.  But first we had a girls morning planned.  My mom, Allison, and I headed out to get our nails done.  My mom took us to a very nice nail salon.  They had drinks, slushes, and snacks.  It was really fun to chat with the girls!!  Afterwards we went shopping!  I bought baby Camden some newborn clothes, Cooper some church clothes, and Allison got a bit of everything.  My mom is my favorite shopping partner. Once we finished shopping we went to lunch at this Japanese hibachi grill, it was so delicious I could have eaten a ton more.  Then we went back to my mom's house and packed up to Tyler.  Did I mention the entire time we were there it had been raining.  We checked in around 4 and unpacked then left for dinner.  We settled together for the night watching movies as a family.

day 2

We had plans to attend the Fort Worth Children's Museum.  We got off to late start that morning.  We decided to stop for a early lunch before the museum at Papacito's.  After lunch there was a little lake trail with rocks leading to the Zoo and a walking trail.  We decided to go for a little walk.  After our detour we went to the museum for the next 4 hours.  Honestly we could have stayed longer but we had dinner plans with my mom  and step dad.  We stopped on the way back to my moms for ice cream on the way back.  My step dad works late so my mom and I went on a little shopping trip before dinner.  It was such a fun day!!!!

Spring break day 1

The last two years during spring break we've taken the kids to Disney World/Disney Land.  We made plans to leave to my moms in Dallas for spring break on Wednesday.  Before we left we meet friends at the children's museum and then lunch at chickfila.  Where something scary happened. When we left I was buckling Beckett's car seat and the car who was parked terrible next to me backed out and hit my car door nearly squishing me.  Thankfully he noticed and stopped!  Anyway we made it to my moms house late Wednesday night.  The kids were so excited we all stayed up close to midnight chatting with Grandma.

Hair loss..

A couple weeks ago I noticed Beckett was missing some on spot in the back of his head.  I took him in for a very over due hair cut so I could get a better look.  It was a large spot of missing hair about the size of a quarter.  I made an appointment for him and the diagnoses was Dermatophytosis of the scalp.  Dermatophytosis is a fungus.  Beckett will have to be on medication for two months.  But first the doctor wanted to run lab work on him because this particular medicine is hard on the liver.  So Beckett and I made our way to LabCorp for the blood work.  It was a nightmare.  Beckett allowed the nurse to look at his veins, clean his arm and stick his arm.  But the kid was horrified apparently and pulled out the needle!!  It scraped his arm pretty well and let's just say blood went squirting everywhere.  I nearly passed out and Beckett was pleading with the nurse "done please, I done, I go home."  Little did he know that he was going to be stuck again to actually get the vial of blood from his other arm.  We had to get two nurses to hold him down while I held him on my lap.  He screamed bloody murder.  We have to go back in a month to make sure his liver is still handling the medicine okay.  I'll be taking Richard with me next time.  Another big downer was the medication made Beckett very sick, he had vomit/diarrhea for almost 4 days.  We finally got it figured out as far as dosage and adding a probiotic and he has been fine taking it since.

21 weeks

Last Friday we had our sonogram in the morning.  I'll was actually nearly 22 weeks at this appointment, but we had trouble making the appointment for various reasons.  Baby is still a boy, he had his legs butterfly open and gave us a nice shot!  Everything checked out perfect heart, lungs, head, spine, and stomach etc.  He is measuring average.  My little guy moved around a lot, I guess he didn't like being pushed on.  At one point he kicked me really hard back kicking with both feet.  I am a little worried that he is still flipping around all over, I don't want to end up with a C-section just because he is not head down.  But he has got a while to turn around, another sonogram in 10 weeks.  I was anxious for this sonogram to confirm gender.  I was pretty sure it was a boy, but Richard kept holding on hope for a girl.  I enjoyed watching him move and seeing his lil face, we are in love with this lil guy.  I feel like I can start working on his bedding, I going to do a quilted type blanket with lime green and dark blue fabric with different patterns and probably a minky dot fabric.  Anyway I need to go out and purchase all the fabrics now.  I also want to make him a towel, changing pad, burp cloths, and receiving blankets.  I'll make a post about all the things I make once I am done.  So thankful to my sister for teaching me to sew, this will be the first time I attempt all these things alone with out her.  But I've actually grown in my sewing skills.  I also have NO clothes for baby.  I gave my sister Heather all of Beckett's clothes for her to use for both her boys and then she sent some to my other sister in Florida who has a three months old son.  I did get a small bag of things from my sister, but nothing newborn so I need to get some stuff for Camden.  Its getting more and more real that we are having a fourth baby, I am getting excited and ready to start our life with a newborn.  More than half way through!
