Camden 10 months old

So much has happened in the last few months.  Camden has 4 knew teeth making it a total of 6!  He is pulled up and side stepping everywhere.  He eats way more food! He loves peek a boo!  He says mama!  Camden won't repeat after me but will repeat after the children!  He hasn't really grown in size but I expect he will soon hit another growth spurt.  Camden has the house memorized and pretty much hangs out where ever the boys are.  He recently became a huge daddy's boy!  And would rather go with daddy over mommy.  He still is totally chill and will let anyone hold him.  Babies just bring joy to all!  I don't know how a baby couldn't make you smile.  Having 4 children keeps me busy but looking into Camden's lil face and snuggling him brings me such happiness.  I can't believe he will be one in two months!

Parent Brunch

Beckett's preschool hosted a Parents Tea brunch at the school.  Camden needed an emergency diaper change and we were literally the last parents to show up.  He looked so sad!  Beckett made lots of homemade gifts for us a canvas, a questioner, and a table mat.  The children then served us food and drinks.  After we ate the children sang the cutest song.  Beckett was so hesitant about going up but he eventually participated.

Mothers day 2016

I love Mothers Day!  I love celebrating my mother and mother in law.  Most of all I love that I get celebrated for being a mother to my greatest blessings.  My favorite part of the day was being with Richards family at our home eating and chatting!  I sure do miss my mom and sisters on holidays but I am so grateful to have Richards family close by to celebrate all the holiday's with.

I remember my first mothers day.  I think its kind of funny that we didn't pre plan this day due to the fact we would most likely have a newborn baby.  I guess we were so caught up with the fact we were having our first baby.  I remember late Sunday that it would be my last opportunity to shop for our moms.  40 weeks pregnant I went shopping.  Allison was born 4 days before mothers day.  We were barely home 1 full day from the hospital.  My mom stopped by after church with my sister Jamie for a short visit.  I remember wanting to get out, Richards parents stopped by.  We asked them to watch Allison and ran to the store.  We came back and I got a wild hair and decided to go visit my mom.  She was shocked we came out ate dinner and chatted with everyone.  Later that night I was rocking Allison and she actually looked up at me, I swear she smiled.  It was such a special day.  Becoming a mother was the best thing that happened to me.  I've always been ambitious and a leader.  But becoming a mother there was no way I could let my child down.  I had to be the best and give them the best.  I am so thankful for all my children they each bring me happiness

Movies and laser tag

We took the kids to see the new captain America movie and the to laser tag this past Saturday.  Richard's mom and dad watched Camden for us.  Richard is a huge marvel fan and we have saved up so many reward points we got to do laser tag for free.  We loaded up on candy before the movie and then got popcorn and drinks.  It was a long movie poor Beckett slept through the whole thing.  The kids love laser tag, Beckett is to small to play but the allow him to come with us and I wear the armor and he shoots the gun.  It was definitely a fun family day together.  I only took one picture!

Allison's 11th birthday

My sweet daughter turned 11!!  Ever since Christmas she's been asking for a hover board.  I was in shock over price but we worked out a deal that we would pay half and she would have to come up with half also.  That girl worked her but off doing chores, keeping good grades, and scoring soccer goals.  It was such special day that we spent with her.  My favorite part was when we played air hockey against each other.  Also when she wanted to be by both Richard and I at the exact time of her birth 1:51.  I sang happy birthday to her.  We had family and friends come over for pizza and cake, it was the perfect end to her day.  I'll never forget the intense fear of becoming a mother.  Not wanting to budge out of the car when we arrived at the hospital.  Thinking I would rather be pregnant then go through labor.  It all worked out and we were blessed beyond belief.  I love you my Alli-cat I hope you had a special day.

Braces

Allison recently lost her last baby tooth.  Her dentist suggested braces.  We set up the appointment and in a week she was in Braces.  It was a hard couple weeks.  I was afraid she would lose weight but she pushed through the pain and has gotten use to them.  The plan is for two years of braves hopefully the time flys bye.

Lubbock soccer games

We've had three soccer games this season in Lubbock.  Two of the games were back to back so we got a hotel.  My in-laws also came to Lubbock for the games.  My sister lives 20 minutes outside of Lubbock and my niece lives in Lubbock while she attends Texas Tech University.  We had quite the crowd of family at the games! We got to go to lunch with my niece and my in-laws after the first game.  The second game was delayed due to lightning.  Three weeks later we were back in Lubbock  for the third game.  It was freezing cold!  After the game we went to my sisters for bbq!

Camping

Our friends the A's bought a pop up camper and invited us to go camping.  We ended up using their parents RV.  We stayed in Fort Davis at the prude ranch.  We cooked out and stayed busy.  While we were in Fort Davis we went to the McDonald's observatory, hiked a mountain, swam, saw horses, saw the Marfa lights, swam in Balmorhea, and fished.  When Cooper was a toddler he drew a picture of me and him on top of a mountain.  He told me one day that we would hike a mountain together.  So glad we made that dream come true.

Emoji party

Our friends daughter had a emoji birthday party at the first Baptist skating ring.  The kids had a blast skating and running around.  The decorations were so fun!  Everybody participated for photo even the babies.  It was such a cute party and we enjoyed hanging out with are friends.

Easter

Beckett had a Easter egg hunt at school!  I think he most enjoyed the confetti eggs.  We also had a church Easter egg hunt.  Allison is a part of our young girls activity days group at church.  She helped stuff the eggs and hide them.  Both my sisters drove into Midland and we meet at a park to have lunch and Easter egg hunt.  On Easter Sunday we had dinner at my sister-in-law's house and had a Easter egg hunt.
