Decorating!!

Friday and Saturday we decorated for Christmas around the house!!  The kids had a blast while Richard was at work Friday helping take all the fall decor down and put up all the Christmas stuff.  After lunch Saturday we spent time putting up and decorating the tree.  We even did out traditionally photo session by the tree!  I have pictures of Miss Allison by the tree since she was 19 months.  I don't have pictures of her first Christmas because some jerk broke into my car and stole my camera the day after Christmas back in 05!  Anyway we had so much fun listening to Christmas songs as everyone helped get the tree all beautified!!  I love this time of the year, especially since I was so sick last year.  I will never forget being stuck in my in laws bathroom the entire Christmas day puking my head off.  But know this Christmas I get to enjoy my sweet baby!!

Turkey Day number 2

I stayed the night at my in laws Wednesday night.  Did I mention my poor hubby had to work and stayed behind, boo!  It was so pleasant to wake up and not have to rush off to cook and be able to spend the day with my in laws.  We leisurely got dressed and I packed to car.  We meet up at my sister in laws to eat at noon.  It was GREAT food and ever better company.  Even Baby B enjoy chatting with everyone who would listen.  WE stayed for a little while while the big kids played in the back yard and Beckett napped.  Then we drove back home to Hobbs to be with Richard.  And we were lazy the rest of the day eating leftovers!!!

Turkey day number 1

Wednesday I drove into town early to celebrate thanksgiving with my sisters.  My sister Courtney and I began baking about 11 am.  We were literally trading one pie in the oven for another we even made time to cook the Ham!  A little later my little sister Heather came to join in on the fun.  It was so wonderful to get together to bake again!  Later we all meet at my sisters who had been cooking the turkey all day, and we finished making all the sides.  It was probably my all time favorite thanksgiving.  There was no rush in this day, I didn't have to rush off to my in laws.  After dinner I went to drop off and put to bed the kids so my mother in law could watch them and I could go see breaking dawn with my sisters!  I barely made it to the movie with 15 minutes to spare.  What great memories were made this day.  I literally went to bed smiling from ear to ear, I love my family!

Cooper's T-day party

This past Monday Cooper had his Thanksgiving party at his preschool. The children had a little program where they sang about five songs. Also each child brought a piece of fruit that they had to cut up to add to the Pilgrim bowl. There was tons of food, so much leftover! Out of all the yummy food guess what Cooper's favorite thing to eat was, PICKLES! I was smart this party and brought Beckett in his stroller, he was happy and chatting to get everyone attention. All the moms and grandma's couldn't get enough of Beckett's smile. Cooper is totally in a phase of no smiles when I try to take his picture, which is such a bummer.

Sleepy boys

I thought it would be fun to write about how both my boys fall asleep at the same time very frequently!  When we travel to Midland, when they take naps at home it never fails that they both fall asleep at the exact same time.  I am not complaining, it is actually a wonderful coincidence.  I just wanted to document that this happens regular in the Sanchez home!  We had our family pictures taken last weekend and I guess it tired out the boys pretty bad because they came home and fell asleep!
