Camden's 1st birthday

My precious baby turned one on July 10th!  How did this past year just fly bye?  So much has happened and I've grown so much.  Transition another child to our family wasn't hard.  I enjoyed every minute of every stage because I knew how fleeting time is.  Camden reminded me to slow down.  If he was asleep in my arms laundry could wait.  If the house was dirty it didn't matter he was happy.  I called him my Buddha baby because he was so easy going.  He would go to anyone to be held, so calm and cool.  I happen to be a very controlling person and I think that's why I was meant to have 4 children, it took me that many kids to finally become more mellow.  I love to look into Camden's big blue eyes, his big smile, or at his bald head.  He's perfect, he's mine and I love him with every fiber in me.  Your not walking yet but I don't mind!

We celebrated with family Sunday night.  We made hamburgers and hot dogs and let him eat his very own cake.  We had a swimming pool and slip and slide out for the older kids to keep busy.  My little guy was tired from not having a nap but I didn't let that stress me, I just went with the flow.  I was so touched everyone came to his party.  I know they were all exhausted from the wedding.  So thankful 2 parties are down 1 party to go!

Alex's Wedding

My nephew on Richard's side got married this past weekend to his beautiful bride.  It was an epic wedding that I felt blessed to witness.  It was smack in the middle of both my sons birthdays but that didn't stop us from going and enjoying in such a special event.  I squeaky Camden and I sat in the quiet room for most of the wedding, but we had the best company the bride and grooms daughter.  The wedding was beautiful and reception was fun.  We got a babysitter for the reception and boy did I enjoy myself.  I was reminded how much fun it is to have full functioning older kids.  Although I did miss my sweet baby.  The food was great, the cake was delicious, and the bride was stunning.  Cooper even caught the garter, he was pretty impressed with himself.  Congrats you two on this new journey, blessed to apart of your lives.

Beckett's 4th birthday party

My sweet B boy turned 4 on the 6th!  It was one busy day!  Richard had to work and my sister and friend drove into town early.  With there help I got the house some what party ready and then we went to lunch with the 16 of us at chickfila.  After wards everything fell into place for the party and the water jumper arrived.  We had a ton of family and friends help us celebrate Beckett!  It was a perfect day, daddy even made it in time for the party!

I cant believe my sweet Beckett is 4!  The years have passed so quickly. You've grown so much yet your still growing and learning.  Its my favorite stage, still so innocent and cute.  I could hug and kiss you all day.  You bring me so much joy, you really are my sunshine!  So thankful your apart of our family, happy birthday my Beckett boy!

4th of July 2016

Richard had to work 4th of July.  The kids and I got up early and made our way to the church for a flag ceremony and breakfast.  We had fun chatting and eating with friends.  We then went to lunch at the Kimber-lea pool with friends where the pool had lunch and games for the members.  We swam for hours, the kids all won prizes and Allison even won second place and splash contest.  Richard got off work early and we had bbq for dinner with my in laws over.  Then we went to the movies to see the second independence day movie.  After the movie Richard and the kids did fireworks in the back yard, we all stayed up to late.

Sockers Game and fireworks

There were no fireworks games this year on the 4th of July so we decided to go on the 2nd to a sockers game with fire works.  The Sockers team was playing for the number one spot in there division so we new it was going to be an interesting game.  We bought dinner and settled in for the game.  At half time we got up to explore and Richard took the kids to kick a ball around on the field.  Camden was pretty fussy the first half of the game.  Once we moved to the field we set in an empty section and let the kids roam free on the bleachers.  Camden was much happier and we actually got to watch the game where the sockers team won 3-0!  After the game the players came in the stands and we got pictures and Allison got her soccer ball signed by a few players.  Camden fell asleep and then the fireworks show started, it was a epic night with my little crew!

New soccer adventures

This past year we experienced what club soccer had to offer.  We were disappointed to find out with the new age regulations our team would be split and technically only two girls came back to the FC Dallas soccer team.  It left us either playing a year down for Allison or trying out for other club teams.  We spent most of June carting Allison around Midland and Odessa to soccer team open practices and then tryouts.  On top of track nights at Lee High.  Eventually Allison was offered a spot on the number one team in our league called Arsenal.  A team that practices and plays out of Odessa.  The team is still on the same league we played in last year so we will continue to play teams we've played before.  It was a honor to get a spot on this team, as an existing team they kept there full roster and were only adding 4 spots.  Allison and her friend were both offered a spot on this number 1 team.  It will bring new adventures for us and were up for the challenge.

Eunice swimming

A few weeks ago we meet up in Eunice NM for lunch and swimming with the P family.  Now that the P's moved back to Hobbs its more convenient to meet up on a regular basis.  Allison's friend tagged along and we drove into Eunice and meet up at the local pizza joint.  After lunch we swam for a few hours at the local pool.  I literally never saw Allison and her friend.  My friend D and I hung out in the shallow area with our little kiddos.  It was such a fun trip I would love to go back before the summer ends.

Cousin Week adventures

I had promised my sister's two oldest children they could spend some time with us this summer.  When my other sister informed me her family was coming into Midland for her husbands training I figured it would be the perfect time to pick up my nephew and niece.  It was a whirlwind week of a bowling birthday party, swimming, movies, chickfila, sleepovers, museum, and more swimming.  We made a lot of memories and cant wait to see everybody again.

Fathers Day

We were still at my moms on Father's Day.  A couple months ago I went with my mom and sisters to this airplane hanger restaurant.  I thought it would be fun to take Richard and the kids.  There were so many planes pulling in and taking off it made for such a fun wait to get into the busy restaurant.  After we ate a huge breakfast we hit the road back home.  So thankful my kids have such a awesome daddy who loves them and is dedicated in their lives.  Thank you Richard for being such an amazing father to our crazy crew.

Fort Worth Stock Yards

I went to the Stock yards last year with my mom and sisters and I really wanted to take Richard and the kids.  My mom kept Camden and we went early before the cattle run to shop and explore.  We watched the cattle run and then went to see a live gun show.  Afterwards we went to the museum and explored the area for awhile.  It was so hot we left to my moms pool and brought pizza for lunch.  After swimming we decided to check out this lake by my moms and fish, we caught nothing!  Later that night my mom watched the kids and Richard and I went to dinner and a movie, we went to a hibachi grill and to see the new x-men movie.  It was nice to get out by ourselves.
