First Hair Cut
Camden had his first hair cut last week. It was kind of spur of the moment. Richard had been bigging me to cut it because the back of his hair was pretty long. I took the older boys in because it was close to picture day. Camden sat on my lap and was calm. We mainly just cleaned it up on top and trimmed the back and shaved the sides. It makes him look so big, cant believe how big hes gotten.
More soccer
The new club team Allison is on plays their league games in Arlington. We play ten games from September through November. Because my mom lives in Fort Worth we've been staying with her. Its been really nice to see her and spend time together. Plus my mom hasn't been able to watch Allison play soccer in a few years. Our team seems to be getting in a good groove and Allison loves to play.
Saint Anne's Fair
Its family tradition to attend the Saint Anne's Fair every year. But we had a game in Fort Worth this year. We went Friday night to just the carnival portion. Beckett was tall enough to ride everything. The wristbands were worth every penny as many rides as our kids rode. Sad we weren't able to experience everything the fair has but I can tell you next year we will miss soccer if we have to just to attend. 17 years strong attending the fair, I love you Richard and our lil family.

Austin Soccer Tournament
Labor day weekend Allison had a soccer tournament in Austin. We happened to stay in a hotel right next to the lake. We had fun sightseeing and attending all her games. My in laws even came and were such a help to us. They watched the little boys so we could attend a team lunch with Allison. We didn't place in the tournament but we enjoyed getting to know the team.
Back to school
Allison and Cooper started school, we now have a 6th grader and a 3rd grader. Its surreal that Allison is in her last year of elementary. Cooper seems so big as well. They both have great teachers and I have a feeling it will be a great school year. Beckett also started 4 year old preschool. I can already tell he has learned a lot in the first few weeks. I am excited to see what this school year brings.
Summer's over
The last month of summer flew by. We did a lot of swimming. My best friend her her kiddos came for a visit. We hung out with friends. Went to lots of soccer practices. My sister came visited for almost a week. Allison did a lemonade stand. We went to the skate park with Cooper's friends. It doesn't feel like we did a whole lot this summer but than again we were constantly busy.
14th wedding anniversary
We spent our 14th wedding anniversary at Allison soccer practice! At least we were together. Maybe one year we can actually get away for a really couple vacation. One day I better be in Hawaii. I sure do love my sweetheart and can't imagine life with anyone else. Its been a fun ride and I cant wait to see watch our future holds.
My birthday
August 12 was my birthday! Richard really out did himself this year with gifts, dinner, and tickets to summer mummers. I drove to spend the day with my sister in Tahoka, where we watched the US women's team loss to Sweden ugh. We also had a huge water balloon fight. I drove back to Midland and went to dinner with my family and then had cake with all my in laws. After everyone left Richard and I went to the theater. It was a great day and I definitely felt special.
Cooper's baptism
Cooper was baptized on his 8th birthday. His birthday fell at a busy time we didn't have even half our family present. But it was still a very special day and at the end of the day Coope told me it was the best day of his life. My mom drove into town and my best friend and her family drove in too. After the baptism we feed everyone dinner. It was such a wonderful day, we are so proud of Cooper and his decision to be baptized.
Cooper's 8th birthday party
We had Cooper's birthday party at RTD in door skate park. Most of his friends were out of town but we still managed to have fun with the few friends that came. We had the entire place to our selves for several hours. Cooper's new love is skate boarding and one of his gifts was a week summer came at the skate park. He said mom I dream I am at the camp and I am so happy. It was probably the easiest party I've ever done. The party went by so fast everyone had fun it turned out perfect!

Camden's 1st birthday
My precious baby turned one on July 10th! How did this past year just fly bye? So much has happened and I've grown so much. Transition another child to our family wasn't hard. I enjoyed every minute of every stage because I knew how fleeting time is. Camden reminded me to slow down. If he was asleep in my arms laundry could wait. If the house was dirty it didn't matter he was happy. I called him my Buddha baby because he was so easy going. He would go to anyone to be held, so calm and cool. I happen to be a very controlling person and I think that's why I was meant to have 4 children, it took me that many kids to finally become more mellow. I love to look into Camden's big blue eyes, his big smile, or at his bald head. He's perfect, he's mine and I love him with every fiber in me. Your not walking yet but I don't mind!
We celebrated with family Sunday night. We made hamburgers and hot dogs and let him eat his very own cake. We had a swimming pool and slip and slide out for the older kids to keep busy. My little guy was tired from not having a nap but I didn't let that stress me, I just went with the flow. I was so touched everyone came to his party. I know they were all exhausted from the wedding. So thankful 2 parties are down 1 party to go!
Alex's Wedding
My nephew on Richard's side got married this past weekend to his beautiful bride. It was an epic wedding that I felt blessed to witness. It was smack in the middle of both my sons birthdays but that didn't stop us from going and enjoying in such a special event. I squeaky Camden and I sat in the quiet room for most of the wedding, but we had the best company the bride and grooms daughter. The wedding was beautiful and reception was fun. We got a babysitter for the reception and boy did I enjoy myself. I was reminded how much fun it is to have full functioning older kids. Although I did miss my sweet baby. The food was great, the cake was delicious, and the bride was stunning. Cooper even caught the garter, he was pretty impressed with himself. Congrats you two on this new journey, blessed to apart of your lives.
