Soccer Tournament/ Boys weekend

Allison's soccer team had a soccer tournament in San Antonio a couple of weekends ago.  Leading up to that week Beckett had a fever and ended up having strep throat.  The weather in San Antonio was suppose to be windy and rainy.  I decided it was best to stay home with the boys.  Plus one of my sisters was coming in to Midland Friday and another coming into town on Saturday.  Richard thought it would be fun to make it a daddy daughter weekend.  Richard and Allison left on Friday after my hair appointment.  My sister who I haven't seen since we visited her family in Florida March of 2014 moved back to Texas. She drove into Midland for a special visit.  It was so nice to show her our new house and to see her new son Thomas.  I enjoyed every second with her, I didn't even get a picture.  Saturday my sister Heather was in town and her son Zachary spent the night.  Richard gave me updates and pictures during all of Allison's games. The team took second place in the tournament I was so bummed I missed all the soccer action!

4 months old

Little guy turned 4 months old on the 10th!  Camden has grown so much.  He is not a small newborn anymore!  My little guy is rolling everywhere and has been for a few weeks now.  Camden adores attention and will laugh, smile, and mimic sounds.  He is still an excellent sleeper only waking once a night.  Friends call Camden baby buddha because he is so calm and chill!  A smile from my Cam Cam changes my mood instantly!!  Camden has his first cold and it's really disturbing his life.  Causing less sleep and more snuggles.

Soccer Games

Allison season ended this past week.  Here is a recap of her last couple of soccer games.  A few weeks ago on a Thursday night her game started nearly an hour late.  The officials were not there so we were going to scrimmage then the referee finally showed up.  The weather turned cool and dark quickly.  Allison played well and the boys kept themselves busy playing with other kids.  This team is very rough and a few of our players were injured.  We won 1-0!!

The second game we tied!  The weather was perfect!  Beckett was tired and hadn't napped and Camden wanted to be held the whole game.  Richard actually got to sit for the whole game.  The last three games he had to do the sidelines duty because no one showed up!  Allison played excellent it was the most aggressive I've seen her play.  She kept bombing the ball but never got it in the goal.

Allison's last two games were very hard on the team.  We were missing several players due to sickness, injury, and other conflicting activities.  We lost both games pretty bad.  We have two more tournaments one at the end of the month in San Antonio and the beginning of December in Austin.  Allison's heel has been really affecting her playing.  Her foot has grown again and it's causing her heel to give her more pain the normal which is how severs disease works.  She didn't grow all summer and played so well.  Hopefully she can take a much needed break this winter!

70's Program!

Cooper's 2nd grade classes had a music program about the 70's!  He has been signing the songs for weeks and I was anxious to watch the program.  Richard's parents came and we got to sit by our friends the A's.  The kids sang a handful of songs and discussed 70's trivia.  I was shocked how well the kids new the songs and how loud they sang.  The crowd was won over by the children's performance.  I recorded a ton of videos, we had such a fun time!

Richards birthday

November 2nd was Richards birthday!  Unfortunately he had to work.  I had the kids make him cards and a trail mix with a m&ms, nuts, raisin, and pretzels.  Later on that evening we went to dinner with Richards family at Olive Garden.  We were a large group but it was fun to catch up with everyone on their lives.  After dinner we had a cookie cake at our house with family and our friends the A's.  I have a date night planned this weekend to continue celebrating my sweetheart.  Cant believe I met Richard at 15 and here we are celebrating his 32 birthday, boy the years have flown by!

Halloween Weekend

We had a full weekend of Halloween fun!  Friday Beckett's preschool had a Halloween party and later we had a playdate at the house with friends.  That night we had our church trunk or treat.  It started pouring down rain and we moved the festivities into the gym.  It was a little chaotic but candy was had by all!  Saturday my mother in laws school that she teaches at had a fall festival.  It was pretty epic and had a ton of activities for the kids to participate in.  Afterwards we stopped by my sister in laws for treats for the kids, their so awesome about always doing something special for our kiddos.  Beckett's preschool had a trunk or treat we stopped by before ending our night at the Allison's friends church Fall Festival.  Beckett was so tired he asked to be held, Camden slept pretty much the whole day.  Richard took Allison, her friend, and Cooper to a haunted house and to trick or treat around town.  I was so tired I could barely function but it was a great weekend filled with a ton of memories!

Sanchez Adventures

I love weekends off with Richard we always have a ton on our to do list and of course a lot of family fun mixed in!  Our Friday started off with a play date for Cooper at his friend J's house and then Alli was invited to a Midland Christian football game with her friend.  It was almost like a date night with just the two little boys who pretty much do there own thing.  We caught up on our dvr shows.

Saturday was a bit busier.  We started off the morning cleaning the back yard so Richard could mow.  Then the kids had their children's primary program practice.  Once a year the children's classes has a program of songs and talks about the things they learned through the year.  After the practice they had a ice team party and Allison helped serve the younger kids.  Once that was done we had a birthday party for one of my life long friends son M who is Beckett's age.  It was cold but so much fun!!  The kids had a blast and enjoyed catching up with my friend C.  After the party per Allison's request we went over to Martinez bakery and the kids picked out a bunch of pondusa.  Then it was home for the craziest part of our day. Our car has been making a funny sound, Richard figured out it was the water pump.  The dealership said they were gonna charge us a couple grand to fix it and were backed up for weeks.  Richard did some research and decided he would fix it.  While the kids and I were decorating the pumpkins Richard worked on the car. Richards parents stopped by and ended up staying for hours.  Richard needed an extra hand from his dad and his mom hung out with me and the kids.  We finished our pumpkins, it was so much fun!  Each kid had their own idea and I tried to make it come to life.  I even used a cookie cuter to cut one pumpkin.  I then made a huge batch of chicken noodle soup from scratch.  The boys took a break from the car and we all ate dinner.  Cooper got invited to Lee High Schools fall festival with our neighbor friend.  Allison had plans that fell through so we decided last minute to go also.  Grandma watched a fussy Camden and I got the kids ready and we went.  It was a pretty lame experience we only stayed an hour.  I came home and put everyone to bed and cleaned up our huge pumpkins/dinner mess.  The guys were still working on the car!!  After 10pm things finally wrapped up and Richards parents left.  My car was back in working order!!!  Richard said it will be one of his favorite memories with his dad.

Sunday was the program.  We got up early and made it to church ahead of schedule.  Richards parents came and my mother in law held Camden the entire time.  The program was beautiful!  One of my favorite parts was when a little boy said his part and he was told to not speak so loud he whispered his entire line!  Both Allison and Cooper did there parts well.  I was worried because Cooper had a paragraph long speaking part.  Their was no way he could memorize it and he's not the best reader but he did great.  My favorite part of the whole thing was Allison's singing with a small group of girls.  She was right in the middle next to the microphone and you could hear her so clear.  I couldn't help but cry!  It was a perfect Sunday!
