Preschool end of the year program

Beckett had his school program a couple of weeks ago.  The program consisted of both the 3 and 4 year old classes.  The program started with a slide show of photos of all the kids through out the year during normal activities and class parties.  Then kids sang songs of all the things they have learned through the year.  I wasn't sure what to expect from Beckett.  He can be so shy around adults.  But to my surprise he was very comfortable and actually was a lot more animated then I expected.  He must have waved to me a million times it was so cute.  Afterwards there were refreshments and a display of all the kids art work.  I think the kids enjoyed watching Beckett as much as I enjoyed it.

Soccer

Allison had her first soccer game of the new season this a couple of weekends ago.  She had two games against both the Amarillo teams.  The first game we won 3 to 0, Allison assisted two goals and scored one goal.  The second game was tougher we tied 0 to 0.  Alison's heel had not been bothering her during the winter break.  Although she's recently hit a growth spurt and now her heel is bothering her again.  Last week she broke her heel cup and we had to replace it.  We continue with her medication, resting, icing, and stretching.  Allison mainly just plays through the pain.  We won't have another game until April and possibly two tournaments.

Recent activites

Its been a while since I've caught up the blog on daily happenings in our life.  I am trying so hard to keep up with my blog for the kids records.  I might stop blogging and start using Instagram instead.

*Allison has been doing after school tutoring for the STAR test, so the boys and I stay at the school playground for an hour.  Cooper has a best friend who's mom teaches at the school and they play together.

*A friend of mine invited me to the Pottery's Diva night I paint a chevron print vase.  I apparently didn't paint enough coats on it, but it was still a very fun evening.  I would love to go again.

*Two weekends ago I went to a girls lunch at olive garden and then we went antique shopping.

*I was called back to our churches children's program as the secretary.  Back to planning events, books keeping, and so so much more.

*Beautiful sunny weather has us spending more time outside.  We've been to the park, washed our cars, and worked on the yard.

*We recently hosted a double bbq and game night with two different friends.  Its so nice to get to know people and their kids.  I've always loved hosting activities, and due to my pregnancy last year and then life with a newborn things kept me busy to host.  I am really enjoying making better friends with the people in our life.

*Both the kids have gotten into skateboarding and we've been spending a lot of time at the skate park.

*Allison has bi-weekly doctor visits for her pinky, x-rays every time.  Her pinky has been slowly healing.  After 6 week she is finally on restrictive wear.  Which means she only has to wear it during activity like PE and soccer.

*Allison's heel cup broke so we had to go back in for a an appointment to re size her and order a new one and then another appointment to pick it up and make sure it fits.

*Cooper is having some teeth work done, he grinds his teeth so bad!

Sickness

We have been surrounded with sickness lately!  It started with the stomach bug and then colds!  Beckett seems to be the least affected by both sickness, recovering quickly from both.  Cooper had a terrible ear infection that lasted a few days and kept him home from his Valentines party.  Allison caught strep and had 103 fever for three days and missed almost a whole week of school.  Camden had his first ear infection, and boy was he fussy!  Camden who never cries was constantly upset and up for hours at night a few days.  I am ready for more consistent weather so we can all stay healthy.

Vday 2016

Since Valentines' Day was on a Sunday Richard and I went out and celebrated on Saturday.  We figured other couples would to so we went out to during lunch to eat and a movie.  It was nice to get out with just Richard, I am truly so lucky to have such helpful in laws.  Our date nights keep me balanced as a mother and I cant thank my in laws enough for watching the kids.  We have a date night once a month and its so wonderful to have that time with Richard.  Celebrating Valentines day is fun to me.  Growing up besides Christmas all other holidays were just normal days.  I love birthday's and Holidays so I am probably over the top.  I think its a fun excuse to treat our kiddos to something fun and to spend extra family time together.  I am also a sucker for flowers and I don't care if they die quickly, there just so beautiful to look at.

Vday parties

Valentines Day fell on a Sunday, so the children's school parties were the Friday before.  Cooper woke up with a fever and ear pains.  I kept him home and set him up with a doctors appointment.  It was a really full day and I was so glad Richard was home.  After dropping Allison and then Beckett off at school.  I ran to the grocery store to pick a few last minute items.  The rest of the day was a blur!  I managed to drop off food for the Teacher lunch in, take Cooper to the doctor (ear infection), attend and help with Beckett's Vday party, and execute Allison Vday photo boothe/coke float Valentine's party.  I wouldn't have been able to pull it all off with out Richard, he took care of the boys in between activities.  I'll definitely remember this crazy day.  I am very thankful though that I get to stay home and be the kids room mom.  My mom was a single parent who worked a full time job, I remember what it felt like not having her at school functions.  I blessed to be able to be such an active parent.

7 months

Camden turned 7 months old on February 10th.  He has grown so much in the last month.

Camden has turned into the champion of eaters.  My best and fastest baby food eater!

Camden now uses his walker on a whole new level, he walks all over the house.  He likes to follow me into the kitchen and is right under me while I cook or wash dishes.

Camden is still very calm and low matinance.  He doesn't need a whole lot of attention.  Although he doesn't like to be alone, and seems happier around one of his siblings or parents.

Camden has grown out of his six month clothes.

Camden is still pretty quiet no real words, the only clear one is still dada.

Also Camden can officially sit up without immediately falling over.

He wakes up at least once a night and takes 3 long naps during the day.

The cat loves Camden.  I find the cat sleeping next to where ever Cam is.

I sing this silly song to Camden.  It goes something like "Camy Cam Can"  Ive noticed Beckett calling Camden Camy, Ops!
