Thanks to bad scheduling, weather, and tournaments our soccer season started off late. It feels like we should be wrapping up and instead we are only two games in and six more to go. We had a scrimmage this past week on Thursday and a game on Saturday. We have seven new girls on the team and still working out positions plus which girls to team up together. I definitely think we are getting a good grove as a team. We lost both games but everyone played their best. Allison loves soccer and is so bummed when the season is over. Although with her foot issue she is playing more reserved this season. I see Allison playing more hesitant and poor thing she cant even pivot off her heel to take off running. For a player that normally plays the whole game Allison cant right now she doesn't have the strength. As her mother I cant wait for the season to be over so she can stay off her foot and let it heal. We have her signed up for a few soccer camps over the summer but might be pulling her out because of her current issues. Going through this injury has been interesting and we still have several games to go this season. The boys enjoy the games, they play with friends and eat snacks. I still have to keep a close eye on them but I still get to enjoy the games most of the time.
